CreditScrubber ("we," "our," or "us"), a service of Fashion Foundry, is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our credit repair services.
We collect information you provide directly to us, including: full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, Social Security Number (SSN), mailing address, and credit report data obtained through authorized credit bureau pulls.
We use your personal information to: provide credit repair services including filing disputes with credit bureaus on your behalf, communicate with you about your account status and dispute progress, process payments through our payment processor (Stripe), comply with legal obligations under FCRA and CROA, and improve our services and ScoreForge™ engine.
Your SSN is encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption. It is stored in an encrypted database vault and is only decrypted at the time of credit bureau submission. No employee, administrator, or system has persistent access to your unencrypted SSN. Your SSN is permanently purged from our systems within 60 days of account closure.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share your data only with: credit bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) for the purpose of filing disputes on your behalf, our credit data provider (Array) for pulling your credit reports with your authorization, our payment processor (Stripe) for billing, and certified mail provider (Lob) for mailing dispute letters. All third-party providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and data protection standards.
We implement industry-standard security measures including: AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest, TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit, Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring clients can only access their own data, regular security audits, and access controls limiting data access to essential operations only.
Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you have the right to: obtain a free copy of your credit report annually from each bureau, dispute inaccurate or incomplete information directly with the credit bureaus at no cost, place a fraud alert or credit freeze on your reports, and be notified if information in your file has been used against you.
We retain your personal information for the duration of your active subscription plus 60 days. After account closure, personally identifiable information (SSN, date of birth, address) is permanently purged. Anonymized dispute outcome data may be retained for service improvement purposes.
We use essential cookies for session management and authentication. We may use analytics tools to understand how our website is used. We do not use advertising cookies or sell tracking data to third parties.
Our services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
